The Weapon Every Child Needs

Sharing Bible

When we teach Bible verses to our children and help them develop an interest for studying the Bible, we put weapons into their spiritual arsenal. These Scriptures can help them combat peer pressure, negative emotions, etc. and help them make wise decisions.

Reflection of the Week:

As technology advances, many things are becoming outdated. The current generation of children has no use for some of the things their parents and grandparents used.

God’s Word, however, is never outdated. It’s forever useful and forever powerful. It’s the weapon our children need.

Scriptures of the Week:

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. – 2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV)

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: – 2 Ephesians 6:17 (KJV)

Prayer:

God, please guide me as I teach my children Your Word, in Christ Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Amen! I really do believe that f our children can get rooted in the word and Spirit of God, they can face and conquer the world.
This is a great and very needful reminder, we must pray never to lose focus on our parenting.
